I very nearly dropped the ball on this documentary work, I was holding it too flat, saw a pattern across all our projects and a nodal point of intervention that would solve it all that also would have been a strong financial driver to pay the teams, which influenced my direction… But we don’t solve problems do we, we work from essence to potential
Whats more, and I’m laughing at myself reflecting on it now, is that a Story of Place is not just done for the sake of it, it’s a value-adding process for a specific project, it cultivates and harmonises energy to be redirected to raise a project to higher orders of evolutionary potential, so how I missed the purpose of a documentary around Story of Place doing the same is amusingly painful
Being mid beach walk when the realisation hit me yesterday, I came straight home and started sense-making from scratch, starting with Levels of Communication, which I was at Tell and Share instead of its potential as Develop, which is a transformational level that develops a new order of spirit and will
I ran the idea of a documentary through an Essence Triad, which started to wake me up a bit on the potential of them to reshape reality, and then in the Regen Tetrad, I got really excited in my usual spot around the goal setting with Vitality, Viability, and Evolutionary Potential, though the head was fried and I needed rest
I went to sleep holding the thought that the documentary could be the value-adding process for the growth of the Bioregional Institute (BI) as a hypothesis to test, though waking up, I had the feeling that our Core Team is what’s really important, who are the foundational stones that BI is built of as a growing Cooperative
So although the main bit of work continues, the meta and micro-stories need more reflection and deliberation with the team
Starting with an update of BI purpose statement, Triad, and Tetrad, and can continue from there with Pentad and network/stakeholder mapping at the macro scale
On the more micro scale, we havn’t found the time collectively to really work through and nail down our personal work in service to the larger work with all the die-off and life events of winter, so a regroup around everyone’s profound question and an understanding of the direction of their self-directed learning journies would be good to communicate collectively for larger coordination
My premise with regard to long-thought processes is that people become wise and unlock their potential to contribute to the betterment of the world by faithfully surrendering themselves to the lifelong exploration of a profound question, rededicating themselves to going deeper each time they gain insight. Long-thought processes are the means by which we consciously extend our minds into unfolding events (in contrast to occupying ourselves with repetitive or habitual mental activities). These processes are precisely the work of time binding.

Mine I wrestled with a couple of months ago…
What’s your Profound Question?
Reading Carol Sanfords latest book, No More Gold Stars, I was struck many times with her profound insight into the field of regenerative development.
