Well… shits about to get real again thank the Gods, with a hot coal added to the Bioregional Institute (BI) fire with the dangerously intelligent Alan Livshin joining the core team
Alan and Tyler are similar in many ways with their deep understanding of living system frameworks and commitment to living and walking this path… He’s also a fellow vegan so we get to have our own little bromance and pretend we are superior to common animal eaters on the side
With the BI itself being framed as the NFP with all the Bioregional Learning Centres (BLC) across the Regen Places Network being the members, it is shaping up to be a very well locally contextualised and autonomous network of materialised infrastructure in place, with the actual development of each BLC being informed and sourced from the regions Story of Place work to really understand the living being of a region and co-design with the people through its own image

With Alan’s genius anchored in his years of developing regenerative infrastructure and resources for a global network of localised ‘Libraries of Alexandrias’, Tyler like a magpie doing the same on the developmental education side, Willow’s genius as an international creative director and network developer (relationship mumma) and my focus on project finance and development, precipitates into a fairly strong, coherent, regenerative developmental development vegan stew (just realised we are missing a sharp no bullshit Indigenous woman to round out some of the sharper edges of the white boys, even though the other two are very conscious already)
Each BLC will be a nodal point of evolution of a regions spirit into regenerating explicate order… a genesis for the 10,000 things in the image of what each region is calling for as the seed for its own evolution
We are actively looking for more international projects and teams particularly throughout Oceania, particularly Pacific Island Countries… having inequality across the pacific only holds up a massive colonial Union Jack being waved from Australia that doesn’t point to a win, but a massive celebration of ignorance which we are about to rub in the faces of our Indigenous Australians again in a months time
There is so much culture and traditions, wisdoms and genius across this fascinating region that we are simply walking past or walking over every day… let’s not do that
Let’s network this entire oceanic region through regenerative song and dance and art and culture and develop a mycelium network of love, trade, and coherence… right at the time of global mental, spiritual, and physical instability
