Hunter Valley Innovation
Post 690
We are bringing together a network of landowners and investors in the Hunter Valley to create something bigger than the sum of its parts
More meaningful than numbers
More inspiring than security
More resilient than insurance
More visionary than ‘highest and best use’
A whole of system, socio-ecological, poly-centric governed, financially evolutional, bioregionally focused model of conscious civilisation development
What on earth are you banging on about Michael?
Great Question…
Think of a built environment developed by the people, for the people, place, and planet
Think place-based finance and development restructured into place-sourced tools for delivering a more equitable lived experience for all of community as a living whole
Think empowered people on a shared journey to re-discover and redefine the beating heart of the Hunter Valley, then dreaming through the unique character of this place as a living being
Think structuring new ways to work together beyond the needs and greeds of the present moment that isolate us as a communal social species
Michael… you have 1 more chances to get to the point…
Noted…
Think of a mosaic of self identified communities around the Hunter, coming together to learn to develop and govern their own property portfolio, which is structured to the exact needs of each community, made up of PERPETUALLY affordable housing, community renewable energy assets, networked food farms as a system, clean water resources, business food and resource infrastructure, community gathering, arts and culture facilities… hell, I’m even looking for an animal sanctuary so I can live out a boyhood dream through the program
Think now of an additional bioregionally focused finance facility, which will help not only bring this to life, but be structured as another revenue stream for creating regenerative generational equity for the system
Sound too good to be true?
It’s not…
There’s already more than 600 of these structures around the world doing their thing
For over 60 years, communities have been coming together through these structures to carve a more just and equitable future for the people… by the people
The Hunter Community Land Trust and Hunter Bioregional Finance Facility are being structured as multi-generation infrastructure for the future of the Hunter Valley
Next Steps…
Bringing together a network of landowners and investors to activate this region
Networking together self-identified communities from across the Hunter Valley
Structuring these facilities with the people
